There is an art to making a really strong remix album. Start with a proven song, one which The People love and will remember fondly. Then, assemble teams of competent, proven producers and give each of them the task of capturing the special magic of the song, while imposing their own artistic vision. Last, a final album producer should ensure a unified vision while allowing each of the team producers' particular talents to shine through.
I am not doing this.
I have taken a song you have never heard, and I will be rewriting, adjusting and despoiling it once a week for the next month or so.
